I have just got hold of a pair of Vortec SBC heads complete with roller rockers that I intend to use on my 5.7 engine but the B+M supercharger I have has the old normal chevy manifold bolt holes,is there a different manifold that I can use or can the old one be adapted.

I have never done this but from the research I have done I believe you can make up an adaptor plate to bolt to the vortec heads then re-face the manifold and extend the ends down so the valley plate reseals and the ports line up, then bolt themanifold to the adaptor plate. long winded but meant to work.
re-drill the heads for the old style bolt holes then try and use gasgets to seal everything up, not meant to work well.
re drill the manifold and try with gaskets as above.
buy the right manifold.
The problems I understand are as follows
1 the inlet manifold faces are further appart on the Vortek heads
2 the angle of the gasket faces is different.
3 The top of the inlet ports are higher than in the old type. And the ports are much bigger.
Best of luck
Mike

Sounds like I will be buying a new manifold, but I think B+M are out of business, think I heard that they had been bought by Holley carbs?.
