Hi.

Does anobody know what size are std sd1 v8 vitesse clutch slave/master cylinder dia?
I have got master about 16mm and slave 22mm Are they std size?

proplem is,
Clutch feels like that there vas an air at first when i push it (very softy about +5cm), but there is no air any more. Both cylinders are recontidioned (~1-2year), "fluid" is always black when i look inside the "fluid" tank.
I think 98% that pivot pin is original V8 + ~6mm shim under pivot pin.. Clutch is Helix performance type, very low milage.
I´m thinkink if i but an ~20mm master cylinder fix the proplem?

Any comments?

I think i fix/solve the proplem? I do some measurement. I think my relase bearing is wrong? I have got only an older type bearing system, and i think Helix clutch pressure plate is new "type" plate? "fingers" is difrend kind that my original clutch?
Is there any height difference between those bearing carrier?

But some question more, Can i fix the proplem if i but an bigger master cylinder? without chanching the bearing if the faul is in the bearing carrier?

All 3500 master cyls were 15.87mm or 0.625" and all slave cyls were 22.23mm, or 0.875"

Does anyone know if the SD1 slave cylinder is the same as the Land Rover slave as the LR slaves are a lot cheaper to buy as mine is now leaking

Piston dia is the same, but range rover cylinder unit is shorter that sd1 type. I think about 30mm?
