I have the rover V8 4.6 with all cams heads etc blah blah
And im still not happy with it
I know the T5 box was built for Ford V8's?? Or am i wrong?
Any way, Will a SBF 302 or 351W pop on there with a bellhousing?
Or am I pissing in the wind and need to change shafts? will the clutch be a nightmare?
Thanks
Alex

If I remember correctly the mustang box when bolted to a 302/351 is canted over to the left to suit the mustangs LHD orientation, I think Real steel sell a correction bellhousing to put the lever upright.

Hi
From my memory Ian is spot on in that the box is canted in the mustang and Real steel certainly used to sell a bell housing to correct this, you will however require the rather odd TVR linkage to put the gear stick in the right place. Not sure what you are putting this in, Probably a TVR, but don't forget the ford Mod series engines, they also use the T5 with the SBF bolt pattern and the 5.4 litre quad cam encines are alot of motor for the money.
Best regards
Mike

IIRC the TVR box and remote are Jeep but with better ratios,

Mate, they're rubbish!!! Stick it in a crate and send it down my way and I will dispose of it accordingly......
