As per title

For hotwire Efi so I can dray cold air from under the glass on the gt40

I have seen side ones, double ones, triple ones front, rear but never top.

Presume I am hoping for unobtanium!

Hi
er you could weld up the side entry hole, weld a flat plate on top and add one of these to the top of the plate

or in fact pretty well any large-ish throttle plate, Ive got a few 2 litre vauxhall ones in the garage if you want to try, there are like this

Thanks for spending my money againMike!

Best off would be downdraft throttle bodies -eight of them

But as I am tight I was hoping for a ready made unit.

Perhaps time to do an edelbrock four barrel manifold and injector throttle body

Ian!
Have you not got any room to add fittings so you can run the intakes to outside somehow?

Or do the carb manifold and weld up 8 injector ports for a normal efi install ?

Is this WC one almost ready for some injector drillings ? IS that what the flat bosses are for ?

Hi Perry

I am currently picking up air from close to the side inlet vent.

But the gt40 is designed to draw air in from under the back glass. So much so at high speed I have started popping off the rear Perspex- pulling out the rivnust that hold it in place.

So to help reduce the pressure build up I want to draw the air in from there.

It should also be a cooler source of air

Thanks Ian
I sort of like the idea of throttle bodies -where did you get yours from?

Cheers

downdraft throttle bodies would look best on the GT40 - i know they used to make ones that looked like carb bodies. but have you ever thought about a 'flying toilet'??
