Having a few problems today so bear with me please. My camera is on a down day so can't a picture up so I will do my best to describe. The alternator I have has a sticker with LRA461 on it. On the back there 3 spade connections together 2 off them are large and 1 is smaller. There are 2 round/post connections on it, 1 has W which from what I have been reading on here is for the rev counter no letters or markings on anything else. What wires go where? I pressume, again from here, that it will be earthed through the casing. Something will have to go to the battery/starter and something will have to go to the ign lamp but don't know which. Can't find anything but probably me using wrong search words.

Large terminals are high current - so are the output, and go to the battery. There are two to allow the use of two smaller, rather than one larger, wires.

The small one goes to the ignition warning light.

Ignore the round ones.

Thank you very much, had a feeling about the spade terminals but it's better to be sure.
