Had A GOOD DAY today,
after a tutorial on the lappy with Phil (Daxtojerio) showing me the new software that he has now loaded on my ecu and setting her up ready for the fire up with the blower (cheers mate owe you big time)
went over to caprisport to polish up the top hose and ended up coming away with a brand new in the bag blanking bung for the trumpet base:-)
came home fitted the pipe and filled the system up with coolant and so far no leaks, hope to fire the car over Monday :-)

waiting on the details for the airfilter.,

today have some sad news.

fired the car up tonight and sounded awesome on tick over,
20 seconds in was a loud screech, the charger pulley stopped dead and the belt was slipping around the pulley,
switched engine off straight away and the charger is locked solid,

slackened all the bolts off and with some force the pulley will turn but it also comes with a horrid graunching noise where maybe the impellor is fouling up somewhere, bearing fail?????

at the point of saying f**k it now :-(

The charger has been collected and en-route back for a strip down and diagnose the fault, and if its terminal or repairable,

I wonder is it related to the problem last time, when it jammed up ?

Although times like this, it's far far better that you bought a complete kit from a supplier as opposed to parts and made your own.

quite possible mate, as it has done the same thing as last time, but more severe this time as engine was running

yes and no really Pel,
lost this year now as tax disc runs out end of sept,
so by the time I get the charger and make the airbox for the filter no testing this year,
and not taxing the car just to go testing,
If things hadn't gone wrong a few months back we would be out racing now, never mind,
Know anyone with a cheap car trailer lol

Hope to have the new charger here end of this week, (fingers crossed),

BUT on another note another little parcel has arrived, and was dropped off by Rossco this evening, THANK YOU :D :D (was good to see you again mate and catch up after such a long time) (BMW sounds awesome too with that charger on)

the base plate lugs and rose joints and fixings etc have been left out of the box so need to get these sent over,
BUT slowly getting there, :D
