On hold at the moment,
charger has been sent back along with brackets for a few adjustments,
hope to have it back here next week now,
Have ordered a 2.5" intercooler kit off the bay, lots of ally pipes and bends etc that i will get welded up like stevie said, etc,
Looking at cutting down the two intercooler pipes just before the swage line and welding them back onto the IC tanks, looks like i can loose nearly 1-2" each side,

Nope could not leave the car alone,
made the brackets for the second oil cooler, (10 row)
which is for the super charger,
Just awaiting plumbing in now,
had a look at the intercooler, the swage tube is 2.5" but tappers down to 60MM, so thinking about cutting the intercooler at this point it tappers down, this SHOULD give me enough clearance,

due to managing to bugger my hand up yesterday i never got into the garage today,
BUT yesterday managed to get the new fans rewired and tested,
Power steering res fitted,
Bottom rad brackets fitted,
all brackets tidied up,
lower grill trims all refitted,
front bumper refitted.
And today Neil at caprisport cut down the tubes on my intercooler,
Have an intercooler pipe kit on order, (ne here monday) along with an oil catch tank/breather.
Also the supercharger and brackets will be back here with me on Monday,
Im after some more hose, its 5/16 fuel hose for the oil cooler, every thing i ahve found so far has white writing down its length where what came with the SC is just black,

5/16 fuel hose for the oil cooler ?
What exactly are you using the cooler for ?

it is the hose that came with the charger and cooler mate,
Rotrex advise using an oil cooler for the charger oil system other wise warranty is void,
dont think they supply the hose.
is there a rubber (not cloth) 5/16 oil hose? as i can only find cloth.

Ahh right, its for the blower.
5/16 or 8mm is a bit of an odd size when it comes to oil hose. Also very small IMO
Step up to 3/8" or 10mm and you'll get any type of hose you want.
Does it even have fittings for the cooler to use 5/16 hose ?
Fuel hose would work fine. It wont last forever, but it will last a very long time.
TBH, last few bits of small non vital hoses Ive bought have just been off ebay. Although I opted for the cloth stuff.

FUEL HOSE 40/11 CH=BSAU 108/2/L4/C4/ B-SAE J30 R6- 5/16"

That's just normal fuel hose, not oil hose.
As I say, it is a very odd size for oil hose. I'm surprised there are even fittings for the oil cooler for that size.
Even AN fittings etc....you rarely find them in that size, which would be -5
What actually pumps the oil around the system ? Even pumping thick oil through such a small hose wont be that easy ?
Or does the blower have some sort of mechanical pump inside ?

Yes mate built in pump and its own oil that costs £100 a time

I'm sure the oil is special...but I'd also be sure that there are cheaper alternatives. Of course...at the risk of no warranty lol
But the oil in there should last a very long time. Just make sure you route hoses and make joints in those hoses in such a manner that you can easily clamp them up for removal without losing any oil. Or provide drain points to catch it !
The pump is obviously mechanical. I assume then that the fittings and filter etc are intended for 8mm ID hose ?
Just seems small
Either of the two links above on egay would be fine, as it's just fuel hose too. It would take a very very long time for oil to pose it any problems.

I'd say most hose will.
How else would you identify it ?
8mm hose isnt just 8mm hose, it will have markings on it.
If you hate it that much, it should rub off with a bit of emery paper or similar.
