did you go for the RWD cossy driveshafts? They are much stronger than the 4WD versions, in case you didn't know! That diff should handle to power no worries though.

I can't remember tbh, compared to the mx5 ones they are bloody massive though! I ended up buying 2 sets as you have 1 long and 1 short on a cossy, I needed 2 short ones, got a feeling they are 2wd.

Tom
You going to have a box of spare undercrackers in the car once built?
Think you might need them
That looks just FANTASTIC mate.
Keep going
Cheers

he he, that looks cool. I especially like the black for the blower body and valve covers - breaks up the ally. You should get shares in your local chiropodist cos there's gonna be lots of sprained necks from people double taking and ripping their 'eds off in surprise!

Cheers guys :D I was really happy with the black wrinkle blower body- love the contrast with the bare ally and stainless bolt heads. Just scribbling on paper trying to work out how to wire in all the new stuff along side the existing gear!

Ordered the tube for the exhausts on friday so will turn up tomorrow, I'll be attempting to sand bend 4 bits of 2" tube for the secondaries, plan is to get them fixed in place then work back up to do the primaries as I will have starting and finishing places with the secondaries in place. Then its basically snagging!!!!!!!

Wanktastic Tom :)

What a cool looking setup mate 8)

Cant wait to post that pic up on my other forums if you dont mind.

Is that a TR7 I see next door to yours??

Whats going on with that one dude ??

I'm really looking forward to seeing that parked up next to me at the Weald soon :)

Keep up the good work mate. You have a good eye for what looks cool.
PS
You engine lifter thingy also works really well on the MR2 Turbo engine. As if fitting nitrous to my old MK1 MR2 and giving it to my Son wasnt ewnough. The little sod has just turned up with a 2 litre turbo lump he wants to throw in :)

I'm not a business partner of Toms chaps. But that little lifting kit he makes and sells is spot on. Very well made and finished. And bloody cheap too...

When do you reckon she will be ready to roll out for testing Tom??

Regards
Pel

Ta Pel, hoping to fire up over the xmas break, should get the steel for the exhaust today and start on it asap! Might be a few early/on time work finishes and heading over to the workshop

Feel free to use the pic, I think I'll wait til the exhausts are done before bolting all the front panels back on.
The TR7 is standard, the chap has taken the old engine out and is today putting in the new one he has completely rebuilt, along with a fresh gearbox etc, think its going through a freshen up! The other car in the back is a Sunbeam Rapier, and there is a mini pick up too- almost finished from bare rusty shell build. Along with my V12 bike half finished project, V6 bike parts and another TR7

Hopefully the car will do a bit more than sit at NW parked up too!!

Come on Tom!!!!

Whats the update??

Dont tell me. "Xmas got in the way"" :)

Thats my excuse for not getting my garage clear enough to get the MG in !!

The poor thing has been outside since October :(

Do you reckon she will be ready for a test drive in the pits for the Retro show day out??

 Really bad actually, I cant believe that nearly 2 weeks off for xmas and I managed to get 1 hour in the workshop  We have a pretty huge family and between all the meals etc, and a 3 day trip to france for new years I couldnt find any bloody time! Done most of my work for today though so going to go over this afternoon and try and crack on with the exhausts.
