Hmm!
I do have to admit that I'm quite liking this whole "V8, fat tyres and nitrous" thing Tony.
I may even take it up as a hobby from now on

Them 10's still seem a world away mate.
I've been trying for 4 years now. I'll have another stab at North Weald next month. But I dont hold out much hope mate.
I'll be happy to see some more vids like that one though.
Then its the Retro show where we can all play together eh

I've never run at Avon Ian.. Only ever been there to watch..
I might pop back up to York later in the year though. I need to try and get some stability into the body now eh?

Hi, so getting the front wheels of the ground (besides looking damn cool) doesnt do the et any good, i thought if that happened the power was getting down and no loss of traction, or does it mean time and power is being lost by lifting the front up ,??

Thats the way I see it Rich.
Last time out I did 7 runs. We tweaked the tyre pressures and start power. I got it to about only 1" off the deck and ran three 11.2's back to back.
But I've now stuck another 50 on the gas. And I can certainly get the power down off the line. But I figure if I can transfer some of the energy (thats going into making the front lift and roll the body in that second when I hit the pedal) to the rear wheels I should leave the line a fraction of a second faster eh?
I've got lots of ideas going around now on how to make something up to hold the chassis a bit tighter onto the rear axle so I can limit the roll a bit. I suppose the downside is that it will put more stress on the body itself.
