Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if you want the coupler from an 044 pump to -6 then go to Think automomtive especially if they are close to you. They are good, tell em what you want and a couple of mins later they trot out with it. Open Saturday morning too which is a bonus!

Stevie,
if i was to keep the 10mm od (8mm id) nylon hose, is there any where you know of that do fittings for this?
like banjo's etc.

Dont know about the pneumatic banjos etc....

But any of the nylon stuff Ive used, I just get it from my local air tool shop. They keep a stock of Norgren pneumatic fittings.

http://store.norgren.com/UK/en-GB/cat3/node1006.html

Not quite sure how you would plumb it all together....Im more familiar with the Earls stuff, as Ive used that much.

I did use the pneumatic fittings for my map sensor, gauges, dump valves etc though. Makes for easy fitment and removal....even though it shouldnt need removed this often  lol

An example of one banjo they list
http://store.norgren.com/UK/en-GB/cat3/ ... 11048.html

No idea what they mean by the R1/2" thread though ?

ta mate,
i will see what price member Andy515666 can get me first,
as would still like to go -6 hose from pump to rail,

No doubt, if you did choose otherwise, you'd regret it and do it later anyway...

So probably better to stick to the original plan....will probably be easier.

But a nylon return line is still an option, as its low pressure, so normal fuel hose and clips will be fine.

i have a 6mm nylon return now,
i will get the prices sorted and then see how much overtime i need to do to pay for it
next problem will be to sort my fuel take off for the nitrous system,
i have this at the moment,

http://www.noswizard.com/product_info.p ... ucts_id=14

i may see what the threads are in the ends where the barbs go and see if there is a -6 fitting that will fit, if so can do a male on filter outlet and a male in the take off and put a female to female coupler between them,

A simple tee fitting would do you for that.

What threads are the nitrous take off ?

5mm i think mate, it is a nut with an olive.

Not long in adding up...

See if you can get some fittings in steel. And can you avoid those 90's ?

the 90's are for the pump and one end of the filter,
they do a 90 swivel coupler but thats £13.50 each

looking to see if they do any steel fittings now

Is this for welding onto non-JIC/AN bits of tubing so you can attach a JIC/AN hose? So for example I could weld or braze a couple of these onto this:

or a hotwire fuel rail then just attach the hose by screwing it on?
Almost certainly a stoopid question but I'm trying to get my head around the plumbing Image as I will need to tackle it in the not so too distant future, so apologies in advance! Image

I think its to allow easy attachment to the fuel rail, as it uses some dumbass fitting as standard.

Thanks, I think I'll order a couple and give it a go.

you think i should run -06? or that too big?

also should i run it the same size from pump to filter, then to nitrous fuel take off then to fuel rail?
or do i go smaller after fuel filter???

cheers guys for the help,

If gravity feeding the pump...Id use -10 from tank to pump ( or -8 at a minimum )

Then from pump to engine, -6 will be fine throughout.

I know on Subarus, the factory 8mm OD hardline tube, will happily feed 500bhp, and that has some serious bends in it from back to front of car !!

Also, even if they dont list steel fittings on the website, do phone and ask.

I just checked the Earls paper catalogue, and there are more steel fittings on it, than listed on their website.
Also handy to flick though when checking what you need. But they have even had stuff that wasnt listed, when I phoned and asked.
