with Neil and Jons help at caprisport we changed the clutch today,
we decided to leave the box rebuild till later in the year, this way by doing the clutch today the car is mobile again
old plate still looks like new with a lot of life left,
the cover is blue and sounds very tinny if you tap it with a hammer as if its cracked,
the new one does not, the pedal is quite hard and the thers hardly any slipping of the clutch in traffic, its mainly on or off
but was ok up to 6.2k on the rev counter tonite

forgot to post this,
but before the half leather seats got sold out of my car we weighed them,
one half leather seat weighed 18.2kg
one of the new bucket seats weighs 7.6kg
so both the new seats are lighter than one of the old half leather seats

Hehe yeah seats always surprise me how heavy they can be. And for all you 1/4 mile slags out there, don't forget to have a big poo before racing, it's worth 2 tenths apparently

I just spat my beer out when I read that Chod... :D

I always tell Pod Virgins to have a good dump before they race. I always have a giggle as I see them stroll off to the toilet block

Its a bit like sending them for a left handed screwdriver eh?

And you mention 1/4 mile slags. I have name for me and my Son at the Pod.
Its the dynamic duo "Track Slag & Pit Bitch"
