Oil Cooler arrived today,
had to mod the brackets a bit as it was touching the intercooler,
will see if it clears with the new brackets tomorrow night.

well had a result tonight,
by modding the oil cooler brackets it now just clears the intercooler, :D

view of the intercooler through the capri lowwer valence cut outs,

One of the mounting brackets, needs tidying up, edges and corners rounding off.

And at last intercooler bolted in and in place using its own mounting points,

Have you got much much bigger injectors yet?
Is your fuel pump a powerful aftermarket device?
Are your fuel feeds up to it?

Do you have a lot of petrol stations on the way to work

thanks

3/8 main fuel line (-6) and 6mm return pipe,

yup plenty of fuel stops to work

also spark plugs?
running NGK 6's at present, 7? 8? 9's?

7's would be plenty cold.

Not honestly sure why standard TVR's etc run 8's though. That seems ludicrously cold.

run a slightly recesed electrode like we do on nitrous?

Posted: Sun Feb 03, 2013 12:19 pm
by stevieturbo
the recessed electrode is pretty much dictated by the heat range.

HiStevie They dont run an 8. They use B7ECS

Speaking to NGK recently these are considered to be racing plugs
