If this is successful, and you decide to produce a run of them, I would certainly be interested in buying one from you. I have an interim cross bolt block so a girdle with mains caps with cross bolts would be friggin' bomb proof.

Thanks for the input dave, i wasnt aware of the main thread issues. The slightly later block looks more appealing with the extra webbing aswell.

I will keep you updated with this project as i get stuck in next year
