i got my carb custom built to my engine by these guys http://www.csucarbs.com/ the guys name is kevin and all i can say is that he knows his stuff when i was on the dyno he was on hand for advice
not had any problems with his carb at all
here allso is a link to doin a carb your self very use full http://www.hangar18fabrication.com/blowthru.html

hope this helps
Cheers Jay 8-)
Had a look at both those sites already, think it was CSU who do the hats/bonnets also? (have been recommended them off the american site)
Need to get the car back from its extended holiday first, then start working things out
Wont be going mad with the boost as im not looking for silly HP - ideally want an engine thats not going to need loads of work after every run and has good road manners - time will tell

P.S. good to see you back

you can of course run the carb in a closed plenum, so pressure is equalised and you dont need a special carb, but you do need rising rate fuel pressure so you dont push the fuel back along the fuel line,
What do you mean by a closed plenum?

you put the carb in an enclosed box and presurise that, with a feed off to the fuel regulator.
