just a thought,
cylinder head change. 3.5 to 4.6.
what head gaskets went on ?
tin or comp.
recall 4.6 heads have smaller combustion chambers than 3.5 heads.
hope this helps.....

I know that the 4.6 heads give a higher comp-ratio than the 3.5.
But I used the composite gasket.
So the comp.-ratio should be the factory 9.35-1.
