"From what I remember it controls the rpm signal to the ecu. On mine there is a vacuum operated switch teed in with the fuel pressure regulator which controls that relay. I think its a sort of throttle overrun fuel cut. "


there you go tone thats what that thing plugged in near the fuel pressure regulator is
