What are you doing for a handbrake?

the handbrake is cable operated as normal but on the calipers instead of shoes and drums.

Sorry to be cheeky
What do these discs normally fit ? I'm running Focus ST170 discs on my XR4x4 daily driver and they are only 300 mm IIRC
You have a reply to your PM but for any on else that has an interest -
Look at the kit on ebay right now - search on "Cosworth brake kit"
Uses Focus ST 324 discs and brembo calipers - serious stuff like tony's but to suit the Sierra strut.

Hi mate yeah I think I sort of met you last year at the classic ford day at pod but you were quite busy having just made your quickest pass to date !
I have the 2 l servo as well as the mondeo calipers and cossie discs on the front and the granada rear calipers on discs on the rear. I just plumbed them straight in to the the brakelines that were originally in the car therefore using the original distribution block.
They ae a hell of a lot better than the originals but seem to lack that 'new car' bite !
I was thinking of chnging the servo but if that is what you are using then I guess it should be ok and I will have to start looking elsewhere !

I had ebc's all round to start with had to change a set on the quick so put some halfords ones in but it didnt make any difference. That was why I thought it was the servo
Your four pots do look nice I'll have to start searching the local breakers and see what I can find

Whatever we do, we never seem to get that "new car bite"
Not sure exactly why but things like the pedal box gometry and bulkhead flex
must have a lot to do with it.
The set-up on Tony's car is just awesome. It pulls the car down from 140 to
the right side of legal with total confidence - not a hint of pull or fade.
I knew it would be good, but that good? No, that's way beyond what we expected.
Wish the Z28 stopped half as good!!
