RS = Real Steel, I still love the sound of the Flowmaster's, I have a 2.5" 3 chamber on my road car on the rear. My race car has a 2 chamber on the rear, I ran without it and not sure if the noise disorientated me but it was a big step backwards.
OT: hydraulic release bearing can be had from Summit racing in quick order and less than it cost to buy from the UK. I used to order them when doing the T5 conversions as they were a bolt in afair.
My old 100e had the turbo mufflers but needed replacing yearly on a everyday car. It was a false economy after 3 years with the 2. On the next car I went with the single system as the flowmasters were quite a bit more expensive but I'm still using them now.
I have results from flow bench testing a load of standard 2 inch mufflers from various companys, I'll see if it's on my race book. I remember the results were surprising.

In the end I decided to go with the two Cherry Bomb middle boxes and ditched the two back boxes I had. The back boxes are replaced with straight pipes. Worked out very well :D (in my opinion anyway)!! Gives that V8 rumble now with a nice murmur at idle. Not overly loud at regular driving, but roars when I hit the 'loud pedal' :D :D

Here's what it sounds like now:
