Have to say, your prices sound like absolute bargains.

I have no doubt they would sell.

Other options to consider for those seeking a serious bargain, are the smaller 5.3 variants.

Still as tuneable, but even cheaper again.

Arrgghh!!
You evil barstewards!

The timing of this is both perfect, and imperfect all at the same time.

Perfect in the sense that I'm rebuilding my car from the ground up, and now is the time to make provision for a dreamy creamy LS.

Imperfect in that I've already bought some extra bits for the existing RV8, and would probably make a loss on the sale of them.
Oh yeah, and I just bought a house, which might have something to do with the complete and utter lack of finances....

Still, by the time I can afford to do the swap, LS7's will be two a penny and going for a song.
I can only dream.

Best thing to do is make room now, fit the existing RV8 back and then a LS swap will be easy in the future.

Grrr...

Hi Gav
some of the T56 boxes (fitted to some vipers others) do an automatic change up from 1st to 4th when you hit 3.5K ish revs on anything but full throttle. The first thing most people do is disable the electrics that control this, the gubbins that does the change is still is in the box though and really should be removed if you can. but on the chevy version it aint fitted so you dont have to remove it. :D

'course I'm biased but the T56 is a bit of a hippo.

Get ready for some bulkhead and tunnel bashing.

The T56 certainly would not have fitted in the Healey without a virtual chassis section.

All of the US T56 cars have the 1-4 skipshift as they call it.

Just unplug it lol.

it is not automatic at all. It simply forces you, the driver to go from 1st to 4th under certain low speed driving conditions, as a solenoid locks out 2-3 on the gate ( internally )

Emissions crap.

Yeah you can just unplug the skip shift in non standard applications. In the factory installations of a T56 you should install a skip shift eliminator kit. This prevents the computer from throwing a light by offering the same resistance in the circuit as the skip shift hardware. Skip shift only cuts in when changing up from 1st gear at less that a quarter throttle. It's a pain in the ass around town but makes no odds when racing or just booting it.
