Shows the carbs and turkey pan on a gt40

When the rear body is closed it seals on the underside of the body and only draws cool air above the turkey pan from under the glass

It's the " Turkey Pan"!----I've actually got a one piece light weight front end (and a lot of work to fit it) waiting and it's just asking for the turkey pan and reverse flow air feed from the bottom of the wind screen as per that MG on the link you gave me. I started to fit this new engine at the beginning of the season and I can't believe I'm still at it
I did contact ITG and their work looked very good but the "TP" got to be the answer.
Again --- thanks everybody for all that

PS. All I want to do is get in the bloody thing and go racing

You could try ramair on ebay they have a massive selection of sizes and sell blank back plates.

My previous project required an air filter in a very restricted area, and I used a ramair. It had a foam outer and mesh inner that could be 'manipulated' to get around problem chassis areas. They are fantastic value also.....

I can't believe this has been going on so long but I'm nearly there. I've made a bit of a big deal out of it but learned a lot in the process ( like aluminium brazing. Good once you get the hang of it )-------- photo's soon.
Thanks for all the suggestions
