Welding the underside of a rusty old car is the job I hate the most, a burnt chest is not much fun and I managed to set my jeans on fire once which caused some jumpimg around

Yep I have a scar on my for arm where I set my sleeve on fire from welding underneath. Rust, underseal in the corners etc.... spitting and dripping metal.
My dad set his flies on fire once with the sparks from the angle grinder. That was rather amusing to watch.
Ian as for fibreglass, I dont mind fibreglassing stuff. It was a bit of a pain in the arse bonding my fibreglass wings on to the B when I had to work upside down and the bloody stuff kept falling off. And it leaves your hands in a sticky mess. I found that washing you hands with cellulose thinners fetched it off though.
Another one of mine would be spraying on underseal. It gets everywhere, face in you hair, arms, chest....When I did my B last I got it everywhere and ofcourse it doesn't wash off and couldnt leave it on because I was getting it on the chairs because my hair was absolutely thick with it, so I washed my hair and face and arms with white spirit.
It made my hair all shiny and soft

I hate rust and underseal. Where there's underseal, there's gonna be rust, where there's rust, there used to be underseal
But once those are sorted, and I've got nice clean bare metal, painting, welding and finishing off are quite enjoyable, and very satisfying once done. I don't like messy wiring, and untidy engine bays, but they can be a quick easy fix, if I had the time between chasing rust and underseal

I hate getting to things in the engine bay on my Griffith. There's always something else in the way of what you're trying to do.
But most of all I hate rusty things. If I could I would make everything out of aluminium, fibreglass, stainless steel or titanium.

Then you would complain that your tools got blunt quickly

Anything that involves working upside down (i.e. underneath the car). Especially welding upside down and fiddling with exhausts.
At least both of my motors are high enough off the ground that I can get a body-trolley underneath without jacking them up.
Chris.
