That's about £1300 before import duty and postage.

Love the bit about it can be fitted in an afternoon. That's complete nonsense if it started out as a carb car. You'd have to fit the bung for the O2 sensor and sort out the fuel pump, as well as the more obvious things. Before you think about anything else. I'd say it would take an afternoon to make a decent fist of the wiring loom alone.

Awkward tank work can be resolved by using an external swirl tank for the high pressure side. Although it might depend what fuel pump you are currently using.

Thought the point in this kit was it is easy to install and needs no learning or tuning, etc. If time is really not a problem, you'll get better results with the usual RV8 multi-point injection and an aftermarket ECU. Unless the look of it being somewhat like a carb really does matter. But you'll pay a lot for that.

The side mounted air intake on the plenum spoils it for me, the look of the centre mounted carb looks retro, I'm fine with that

Just buying the throttle body part I linked to, and use it with an aftermarket ecu offers both.

Simplicity of install, good value and versatility of an aftermarket ecu. It would only require the most basic ecu to control it.
He will already have a 36-1 fitted for the MJ, so that aspect is covered. The TB itself will have a TPS fitted and of course the injectors.

Those two things are the absolute bare minimum required to run the ecu, so really install can be very very simple, or it can be added to as desired.

At the price I had the throttle body and O2 sensor for I'm happy, if I find the fast efi to be useless i'll swap in a megasquirt
