If you have been able to reset the adaptions then plug on and read the love data stream with the engine running it allows you to veiw what the engine is doing sensor wise. Spray a can off easy start around the manifold the plenum chamber top. Listen for a drop in engine note. If the revs drop a little then a air leak is presant. Check the fuel pressure with a gauge purge and pressure drop should be around 2.4 bar with the engine running should purge up to 3 bar and drop to 2.5 bar once purged.

Do you really mean a 2.4 bar drop in pressure with the engine idling?

Could the engine be running perfectly but you have a broken brake system and the brakes are dragging and meaning the engine has to work really hard to overcome the friction?

Easy to check car at 10mph and put it neutral - car stops quickly - check the brakes - if not back to checking the engine.

You have still not said it when it idles it smells rich and irritates your eyes near the exhaust pipe. It might not be running rich but dropping fuel elsewhere!

Right guys after checking some data .i found airflow is all over .so i removed the airflow metre to find the wire smesh gauze is missing .so added a new maf and reset adaptions to see if theres any differnce

Defo..differnert to drive idiols more smoother and seems better responce on throttle too.i removed inlet manifold just incase the gauze was sucked up but no signs if it in there or the rubber intake pipe so .im asumeing that was ir

yes was 2 main issuises air flow metre .and ecu needs to be reset after changing any engine part on the gems engine as it causes allsorts of problems...i reset ecu adapations afterwoulds and runs brilliant..
