Hi
Eleot's site comes t the rescue again http://www.mez.co.uk/mezporting/exhaust_length.html it is all based on the cam and would be best on a flat plane crank but should work on a rover.
If you want another aproach then this could be usefull http://www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk/calculator5.php
this is good for a 4:2:1
http://www.bgsoflex.com/bestheader.html
this may also help
http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/59 ... ded-4-2-1/
It is all a bit of a case of Try it, stick it on a dyno, have another go with a 4:2:1 set up.
Best regards
Mike
