Not a specialist in LT77's but definitely a gearbox specialist who really knows his stuff and rebuilt mine. He regularly rebuilds boxes for a lot of the guys I know that race as well. Good job and reasonable rates.

Isn't there a mod they can do to fit an uprated input bearing at the same time?
I seem to recall something along those lines being mentioned somewhere.
Cheers,
John

Hi
Have you contacted Ashcroft transmissions http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk ... at&catId=4 there was a time that they would takein an LT77 as a core and for a small extra charge give you a reconditioned R380 in return. I had dealings with them some time ago and quite frankly I could not have found a more helpfull and professional, and friendly company to deal with very nice people!
Best regards
Mike

I had my 28A vitesse box for my mk1 escort reconditioned by paul grainger at K.C’s hot rod and race shop in billingham....did a fantastic job and was extremely helpful from start to finish.
It's only metal!

I recently used AW Transmissions in Coventry, very pleased with. It's only a 1man operation but Andy knows his stuff.
