Dizzy bob weight springs

Hi All I'm running a 214 cam and would like to know if I need to change the springs, any advice appreciated.

Hi. Sorry not to have replied sooner but it is impossible to give you definite answer. The only way to know if you need to change them is by testing the engine either on the road or on a dyno to see what the ignition timing is doing and what it needs to be doing, you need to graph the timing advance with the current springs and graph the advance that the engine works best with then change the springs and weights to make it work to that graph.
