It has a servo, and certainly does not mask poor cold performance.

All - Update on this thread. - I have now upgraded the front calipers to the HiSpec 4 pots / 283mm vented/grooved discs / EBC Greenstuff pads.

Replaced the rear brakes with what was already fitted [ Ford Granada Mk3 calipers / 247mm solids / EBC Greenstuff pads ]

Replaced the brake fluid reservoir (as it had a leak), replaced the brake fluid / bled the system. I can confirm that the brakes are un-assisted.

I've taken the car for a very short test drive and would describe the bakes as 'adequate', bearing in mind the pads aren't bedded in yet.

All brakes got equally hot / braking ratio appears good.

Unfortunately, the summer is coming to an end and there are still a number of other issues that need sorting out before I can daily drive the car up and down the M1, and give my final verdict on driving a car with the same bhp per ton as a Lamborghini Huracan but with un-assisted brakes and zero driver aids, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. :P Probably next year now. Thanks to all thread contributors.

What size master cylinders are you using…. Presuming one for the fronts and one for the rears?

What ratio do you have on your pedal? Distance pivot point to master connection and pivot point to foot pad?

What size pistons did you get in your new calipers?

With the bone w set up on a dry tarmac road can you lock the fronts?
