Inlet manifolds

Post by Mc Tool »

Nother dumb question
I have now got two 3.9 inlet assemblies , one has the trumpet base bolts onto the lower manifold , the other they are cast as one assembly , from a performance point of view is one any better than the other.? It takes about a week reasonably solid work to polish up one intake assy , and I dont want to do the wrong one
Thanks
Hamish

Might the coating just be covering the join? There's no gasket used, so no gap.
