Piston & Conrod weight of a 4.6

Post by DocRacing »

Hi,
In order to dynamically balance a crankshaft of a 4.6 , I need the weight of a std connecting rod (big end & small end) and the weight of a std piston with pin.
Could someone have those info for me ?
Many thanks in advance.

If its being balanced then you need to weigh your own pistons and rods - all matched to lightest and provide that to the balancer - info from elsewhere is pointless.

If you have a standard 4.6/4.0 then the balance from the factory is much better than the 3.5/3.9 and perfectly fine for a road engine.
