Thanks, unfortunately I can't see the pics, which is a shame.

Could I simplify the whole thing, top hose to thermostat housing, water pump to bottom rad. Outlet above this to lower outlet on header tank.
Blank off heater outlet, and top outlet from header tank.
No heater, but should work, and should bleed ok?
Or isn't it that easy?
Thanks Andrew
You have a choice on thermostat location - older engines have it in the thermostat housing - later have a remote thermostat housing in the bottom hose.
But yes the top hose goes from the top of the engine to the top of the rad.
Bottom hose goes from the bottom of the rad (usually bottom - but sometimes top! depending on your radiator!) to the pump inlet.
Larger port on the header tank tees into this bottom hose.
Blank off heater outlet if you don't want a heater.
Tank cap needs to be the highest point in the system. What is the pressure rating?
There are two system types depending on your radiator height and cap type:

Tom.
Cheers for that Tom, the cap is rated at 15psi , I have also notice a 10mm outlet on right side of manifold, could this be connected to the small outlet on the expansion tank to aid bleeding?
