Hi all, P6 engine runs strapped down on a trolley, but inlet manifold leaks coolant.

Recommendations please for good quality inlet manifold gaskets, thermostat, thermostat housing gasket, coolant temperature sensors and the two short hoses on the inlet manifold

Composite inlet gasket, use a little gasket sealer around the waterways, and on the end rubber seals.Other gaskets just use a good quality of eGay,the two small hose I used some short silicone
The inlet can be tricky, but perseverance we win the day !
I use a bit of sealer on the thermostat gasket too,
Others may tell you different, but that's how I seal it

Thanks Blown V8. Are SD1 3500 components compatible with the P6? e.g. inlet manifold gasket and thermostat?

Inlet yes,not sure on the thermostat,as some have bypass, others dont

Thanks BV8

Although this thermostat housing has a hose running to the inlet manifold, I don't think it's a bypass (or is it?)

Where on the inlet manifold does that go to??
The carb tower hose should connect to the radiator tank near the cap.

Which is probably the carb tower!

It definitely is the carb tower, but I have never seen that set-up before. As far as I know, that pipe runs to the radiator tank, just under the filler cap.
