I posted a topic a while back about this, after having trouble with blue antifreeze in my RV8, I was talking to an old friend at a car show yesterday and he told me about Fernox Alphi 11, its a central heating antifreeze that a lot of the classic owners are using after having trouble with even blue anti freeze, Alphi 11 is expensive but lasts 20 years ! the blue stuff has to be changed every 2 years here is a link to a PDF that explains about it, the Alphi 11 bit is towards the bottom.

What trouble have people been having with the correct anti-freeze?

BTW, the colour of the anti-freeze doesn't necessarily tell you what spec it is.

Years ago, the common anti-freeze colour was blue. Hence Smiths Bluecol. Which was death to ally engines. Their ally anti-freeze was green.
