Good source for brake bits:P6 3500 mongrel from 2000TC

Post by P6B Mongrel »

I’d greatly appreciate suggestions for brake rebuild kits, perhaps master & slave cyl., calipers, etc. I’m just starting on a just acquired ‘67 2000TC that was modified with a V8 and 5 speed many years ago. I think the 3-piston front calipers were not original to a TC: any suggested vendors or courses of action? I have a J Taylor manual ordered. I’m in very rural far-northern California. I don’t even know exactly what engine I have yet, but will know soon.
Thanks for any time responding. I welcome any and all direction & input.

They are most likely calipers from the V8 P6, which IIRC are the same as E-Type jag, but readily available from the Rover specialist suppliers. Rear calipers are the same across all models apart from really early cars with a Dunlop system.
