Line Lock bias valve question

Post by gelmonkey »

Hi all
Long time since I made a proper post and this is on behalf of my mate and his V8 moggy.
He has plumbed in his line lock before the bias valve and tested it out.
Problem is the back brakes lock but the fronts dont.
Now I have said that he should fit LL after bias valve but it does not explain why the back brakes locked but the fronts didnt.
In our minds it should be all of the brakes locked or not at all depending on the valve positioning.
Can someone help a worn out Gelmonkey with this little brain teaser please

Ta

Line lock should be on the front circuit only.

Without knowing details of the full configuration of his system...cannot answer

Hi guys
My mate had a catastrophic brain fart and even though he insisted that everything was plumbed correctly managed to get the back and front lines backwards
I said to him many times during our conversation Saturday night was he sure that it was plumbed right and he insisted that all was good.
Yesterday morning brought the call to say that he crossed the lines and that was why the backs were locking and not the fronts
I have sent him a huge pie for his lunch today (Humbled flavour) and please feel free to rib him at the Retro show

Thanks for your replies all the same.

cheers
P

If he converts the car to front wheel drive, he could leave the line lock plumbed as it was :D

Too much farting going on on this thread. A good dose of prunes some fresh air and exercise should sort the pair of you out!
