Newbie with Boss Hoss V8

Post by GordonBH »

Hi all,

Just found this site and thought it might be useful to get some V8 tips, my bike runs a small block Chevy 350 with mods to put out around 400hp. Great fun even on British roads - keeping the local petrol stations in business.

Well re self preservation I have about 10k miles in UK and Fr. Be. Lux. And Germany so am doing something right.

Re pic I'm new to this site and it needs HTML by the look of it so I'll have to wait to get to my pc I must agree there's a bit of madness in my family and if there wasn't before there is now. Half a Corvette really. And with 400 / 1/2 ton = substantial power to weight ratio.

Amazing - too nice to ride.

Do you fall off when you blip the throttle?

Hi Chris,

Well, I quickly learnt to resist the blipping instinct because yes, it throws itself to the right due to the flywheel effect.

I do like to ride it all year - I was out 3 days last week and yesterday. Forecast looks good for tomorrow so might rumble down Southwards through N'ton.
