I tend to stay off sites like facebook. I'm not a grouch, I just dont want the world knowing my business. I stick to the car forums that I like and thats about it really.

I am on Facebook under a pseudonym just to keep an eye on my kids.
I've suffered two lots of identity theft over the last few years so most of my info is so false that the real me is sufficiently obscured.
The details of the thefts are so scary that I won't post them here but I can recommend that you never have your real birth date or age on any site and that you should also protect your real name and address.
