Got my engine at last - minus the Radiator, prop and gear linkage (to be forwarded). I will be trial fitting it in my chassis tomorrow.
Engine is very clean, and looks like it will fit ok (I hope).

Trial fitted engine to make sure it was going to sit where i wanted it. The engine is from a 1998 Camaro, and has an EGR system that I'm going to remove (clean it up a bit). Fortunately the headers will fit just fine, and I'll just have to fab new mounts for engine/box.
Once It's located, I'll look at the electrical and fuel side of things, and read up as much as I can find on running it without cats, egr etc.

Side view - engine isn't very tall, so should be able to keep bonnet brace

Engine from my other Minor - should sit about the same position, but lower

Sadly, I've not been near the project for a while - eventually.

I find it quite amusing when you say it's a Morris Minor, looking at it without the body on! It stretches my imagination quite a bit!!

Body goes on today :D
It's all fully glassed, sprayed, dynamatted and wired, so hopefully shouldn't be too long before I'm driving it.
