Perry
I'm here and reading
This Wednesday I'm off to Cadwell Park The Total Kit Car mag is doing a side by side comparison with all the GT40 replicas that they can get. They are particularly interested in mine as it is a Dax and only 43 were produced - only about 15 finished. That will be an early 5am start 200 miles each way and track time

If she's still running I'll pop on up!
Perhaps drag along a couple of mates who are also partaking this Wednesday

You and your mates will have ages to rest up before Saturday 27th then?? :)

Only reason i ask is mines a 700r4 and has the funky TV cable setup (which needs to be attached). Could it be run in 2nd?, no idea if it will change up to 4th when hammered in 3rd or kickdown into 2nd for that matter.

cheers!

Stu
My Dakar runs a 700r4 and martin ran it on the rollers last year.
He runs it up until it gets to 3rd and then does the power run. By default a 700R4 should not change to 4th (overdrive) with Wide Open Throttle - unless its been modified to do so (which is a bad mod)
It could possibly kick down to 2nd, but he tends to choose a speed to floor it at, where it wont kick into 2nd.
