Rolling road day Saturday 5th Sept 2009

Post by mgbv8 »

I've got a day booked at Bletchley again. There will be a few MG's on site. But I could really do with some V8's to even things up a bit. Who wants to see 85hp dyno figures all day??

I need 4 or 5 decent V8's to make a nice balance for the day. It will also make some folk realise that V8 is the way to go once they see some of our results eh?

Anyone free on the 5th Sept with £35 in their back pocket??

Same as last time. £35 donation to the tea fund will possibly not be vat able. + Tea coffee and bacon butties / burgers all day long included :)

We should all get at least 4 dyno passes in the day with tuning time in between.

Anybody interested in this meet up?

I've got 5 MGB's and 2 Skoda's so far. I need 3 more cars to make it worth doing :)

Yes I could well be up for another test - need to keep the waterinside the system!

All depends on if I break it this weekend at Dunsfold Wings and Wheels - the GT40 club have been asked to do some high speed runway runs - 2 miles of straight - how high can a RV8 rev before bang?

Now 6500 rpm shoud be about 170mph!

Will it stick to the road?

Cobatone!!
It will be good to have you along mate. The info is above as you can see. We will lift the shutters around 8.30am and should be ready to start testing around 9.30 after everyone had had a brew and a chinwag.

Regards
Perry
