Finally a good dyno result for my Griff

Headline figures are 319.5 bhp @ 5700 and 349 ftlbs @ 4000 at the flywheel.

Will post the proper graphs when I can scan them, meanwhile here's an excel copy.

All in all, not a bad result. The engine looks to be timing limited by det prevention measures (timing retarded due to intake temp etc) above 5k, but that's no real surprise because it's high compression and 95 RON.

The fuelling looked spot on.

Well done mate!
Now you have a baseline to work from for further mods. The RV8 can make good numbers with a bit of tweaking eh?

There won't be any more major mods for a while. Just polishing the rough edges now.

It would be nice to know why the torque drops off so steeply at 4500, but it may be a feature of the cam.

It would also be nice to know why there's a full load low RPM misfire. I can't get the ECU to visit these load cells on the road, so maybe it doesn't matter too much.

You think you have problem's with torque dropping off steeply??
You should see what I've got to sort out :)

You've got more power in the first place, so it doesn't matter as much ;) ;) Mine's only got 350 ftlbs and I'd like to keep them all the way to at least 5k5.

I'm about to start a post in engines asking "where next?" for picking up the easy-to-get lost horses.

Proper graphs now added.
