Post by Darkspeed »

From the PPC rolling road day

Things start getting a bit rich when the secondaries open - air filter is filthy though.

That looks pretty healthy for a 4 litre. :) Really like the Ginetta G27 as well.

Our 4 litre TVR Chimaera is basically standard apart from our mappable Engine Management System and we got 241 BHP and 276 lb ft on a Dyno Dynamics rolling road whilst optimising ignition and fuelling. See http://www.lloydspecialistdevelopments. ... 00-hc.html Gallery for Dyno Plots. Think our air-fuel ratio is actually a little on the lean side for the Rover V8, yours is closer to ideal due to the poor efficiency of the cylinder heads, intake, etc.

Cheers guy's - cant take any credit for it though - there has been a lot of money spent on the engine although the cam and heads are quite mild - heads are DJE stage 2 and the cam is the DJE218/220 - Its rev's like an absolute demon though and care has to be taken when it breaks traction which in such a light car - which is even lighter now...
