its a totally different car stevie.
it use to accelerate bloody good but when on the track felt like when you hit 3rd it felt flat as in no go, it must of been though as ran 12's last year,
but now you can feel it pulling in every gear now, cruise along in 2nd or 3rd then nail it it takes off then starts smoking the tyres as it comes on boost lol
its crazy,
nearly on top of the cold start set up and idle afr, going to enjoy this car this year

Get some R1R's or better 888's next time around.

They'll make the world of difference on the road.

Or any similar trackday type tyre.

But after trying many, wasting loads of money, it usually comes back to 888's being one of the best all rounders.
Hopefully the new R888R replacement will be as good.

Not sure many people sell the MT's in UK ?

There was some nonsense Euro ruling about how they were made and some people stopped selling them because of it.

They are very good tyres though

Still debating between them and some Hoosiers for this year.

Another good option and you'd get street use from them too are the Nitto 555R's

With their tread etc, I'd be happy to use them on the road, and they work very well on the strip too.

Aye, and price of the damn things ! lol

Pretty sure they're + VAT too

Last pair of Hoosiers I bought, DR's 255/50x16 cost £550 for pair delivered here from Hoosier UK.

They were cheapest UK source, everywhere else wanted more postage, but prices seem to be fixed. Certainly no monopolies commission there !

When I've got quotes before, Lee at LA Racing Parts always seemed cheapest, but was usually 3-4 week delivery.
And as it was always a list minute thing, never had 4 weeks to wait.

http://laracingparts.com/

Jeeezzzzz, Lee's prices are nearly £100 per tyre cheaper than Trackstuff for my size in MT DR !!

Even buying direct from US, postage for tyres is the killer, and with crappy exchange rate these days, there is probably still a saving, just not huge.
