I still think you need to tweek your aerodynamics Perry, also I think you could whip off the choke flap that sits right in the airflow in the carb mouth!

Perry ive got a holley with no choke flaps and the top machined down flat its at my workshop if you want to have a look i not far from you.
Thanks for your help with my nos kit be talking to Antony at wizard of nos about spider plate system :D

Mark MG Bloke tried removing the vacuum flap on a Edelbrock and it ran very badly.

TC said about the choke on mine at the weald last time, i took mine out and it runs fine, i never used the choke. :) rich
