New PB for the MGB today at Santapod

I took the MG to the track today hoping to run the 9.79 that I was looking for. It actually ran 9.78 seconds which was great.

But better still it improved on that with a 9.69 second pass :)

I'm well chuffed boys :)

I think there may be a 9.5 in the car for next year. I've got a good few tweaks to do over the winter.

I've not changed anything re power adders since the 9.81 at Retro show. I'm just twiddling with launch power and ramp time on the nitrous.

I guess I'll know more once I get it on the rollers later in the year.

I guess thats why the why the ET is coming down but the mph is not moving ;)

She deffo needs more grunt in 3rd gear for the last few hundred feet. I'm more than pleased :)

Congratulations,
Enjoy reading your updates,out of interest,what's you rear end gears,?
how much faster (top end) can you go,before you need to change gears/tyres ?

Rear end is factory MGB V8 @ 3:1
Cant get any bigger tyres in there. 28" tall is the max.
