real 0-60 (not that Wallace nonsense)

Post by dbv8 »

So i was trying to take it easy on Sunday at York as i have recently blown head gaskets and snapped driveshafts.
They had the 0-60mph camera set up in the right hand lane.
Heres my last run of the day

3.164 seconds will do me :)

0.5 is a perfect reaction time at York so 0.533 was a personal best for me.
I was a bit off my best 60 foot 0f 1.70.

I was ahead of Russ in a Chevy powered Dutton at the 1/8th but his superior power came past me. I actually let off towards the end hence my terminal being 4 mph less than the norm.

It would have definately been a 10 if i kept my foot in.
But like i said, trying to nurse the car so it would get me home.

I beat my 0-60 time yesterday at York with a 3.0531

This was with a 1.6409 to 60 foot and ive ran a 1.599 before so surely that must mean sub 3.

Very happy with the result though. Shame the day was spoiled by a Toyota Supra reversing his big bore tailpipe into me :(

I ran a few 1.5's. Goes to show a big burnout works well for the MT street ETs.
Shame I missed 3rd gear on this run otherwise it would have been very close to a ten on only a 70 shot of gas

We managed a 12.8 at the hot rod drags, I had to tell him when to stop in the burn out box, he was never happy about how long I kept him there

Blimey!
What engine mods are you running? Not just a stock 4.5 I presume?
