What's the CR? When you say re-built, can you give the full works done?

Hi Tolley

I just had a look at your Ebay listing. Your asking price is a little over what would be realistic for a 3.5 on carbs.

Even fully rebuilt you would be lucky to get £800.

Hi Tolley

Its not how much has been spent or the quality of the rebuild. It's all down to demand for a Rover 3.5 fitted with carbs.

If someone was to pay that sort of money they would be wanting something bigger than a 3.5 - as rosco has indicated too much money for too little engine - work has over capitalised the value of the engine.
