Looking good mate,
all be worth it once built and you can hear it run for the first time.

not trying to tell you how to do the job though, BUT i do hope you marked the end caps and the conrods they came off of before dismantling :?: ,

You are no fun Tony, I was admireing his rather nice granite effect work tops and re-use of kitchen units, I wish my garrage looked that well organised and he's got a parts washer. . . lucky person! :twisted:
I would get the block hot tanked once you have cleaned out the oil galleries though, that block is well mucky.

yeah not bad for £25 ha ha sealey air operated parts washer, yeah gotta get everything cleaned and stripped first then find out whether the block needs looking at etc

just a few quick updates got a few more bits done on me couple of days off,

well the head has started to resemble something that actully looks quite remarkbely clean

the block on the other hand

and the wild green "over spray" thats something else to try and get off

valves all out and awating a good clean to try and get the stubborn carbon off

just gonna have to check somemore "gunk" and get wash :-)
