OMG what a totally different car now on the PLX set up, more responsive now and a lot smoother while driving
should of ditched the innovate last year when it started eating sensors, :x :x

Saw your car at classic Ford Santa Pod this year and hung about for a while, would have been nice to say hello!

Did you run it up the strip ?

was allowed to go for a birthday drive today lol.
car pulls poop loads smoother and harder from a standing start and its also more responsive on the PLX setup compared to the innovate,
cruising is also a lot smoother and no shunts like I was getting before,
looks like swapping to the PLX this moment in time was the best thing ive done

After spending most of Christmas and the week leading up to new years in bed ill,
Managed to get some time on the car new years day prior to going back to work

Rotrex Charger Off,

Brackets Off,

Procharger And Bracket In Place,

Belt Fitment, Second Idler Needed Too,

D1SC Charger,
20190101_144414.jpg
Off The Shelf Belt Too,

Belt Fitted And Under Tension,

Second Idler Now Fitted,

Boost Hose Installation,

Top Rad Hose Still Fits Too,

The procharger sits under the bonnet a lot lower than the rotrex, 95% of the hoses seem to go back in the same place, need to source a couple though due to size difference in the two chargers,
And the charger inlet is slightly touching the rocker cover so the bracket is currently back with Allan being modified as we speak,
And also having a 3rd Idler gear fitted now down by the bottom pulley between it and the power steering pulley to put more wrap on the crank pulley to reduce any chance of the belt slipping,

Time for an update me thinks,

The D1SC procharger is now on, bonnet needs a little bit of relieving work doing on one of the strengthening ribs where it hits the charger now after we had to move it away from the engine,
Servo has now gone due to having to run vac pumps etc due the cam, and been replaced with an ABS pump from a sierra (minus the ABS setup) using it as a power booster for the brakes instead of a servo,
starting to make the cradle now for the water canister to be mounted in the boot for the water injection kit,
And the pipework is back from being machined for the boost controller, next job is to get it welded to the charger outlet pipework and get it wired up to the ecu,
IAC stepper motor has now been ditched for an extra air valve for cold starting etc, this is also needing fitting and wiring up,
Capri dash dials have now gone due to electrical gremlins and been replaced with a set of speedhut revolution gauges , gps speedo and programable fuel gauge, along with shift light rev counter and telltale recall,

i know i have not posted much on this as nothing has really happened in the past year until the past few months lol,

hammer rash to the bonnet- this will be cut out and shaped and welded up once weather allows the car outside with no bonnet on,
