I just bought a 7PK1970 belt. I used eBay. I have no idea what it's for, nor do I care!

Chris.

Right guys need some help as I'm getting myself so confused now,
am I correct in thinking I need the flat faced self centering bearing to go with this RST cover plate and not the domed type bearing face one I have sat here from my old clutch???

Post a picture of both ?

And how does each look when applied to the fingers ?

There's a good chance either cold work....but if the fingers had been flat, then a flat bearing would not work ( for long )

Again, place it on top of the fingers and see how it looks.

The bearing will only travel say 10mm so there isnt a huge range of movement. If the fingers are fairly close to the centre of the bearing then I wouldnt have any concerns.

The bearing they ( not McLeod ) sent me for my clutch has me more worried...but it's working lol

If the flat part of your raised fingers where either too close to the inside or outside of the bearing, then I probably wouldnt be happy with it
