yeah mate,
im over the moon,
and the valves are larger than normal,
the guides are bulleted and shortened, and have been machines for the later style neoprene stem seals,
looking at the chambers we think they are 28cc, identical to a 4.6 we had there, if that is the case the heads have been faced off so will defo need the pistons doing now.

just mailed V8Dev,
as on there site they say they catalogue there heads,
and under the lifting eye is another stamp, which reads, V8D21
fingers crossed they still have these heads listed and they can tell us exactly what was done etc.

My present heads on my 3.9 are stage 2 from v8 dev's and straight away from the piccies i can see that my exhaust ports are bigger than yours yet the valves are a standard efi valves.

Mine are "ported to gasket size, bulletted guides, later stem seals, latest efi valves, matched chambers uprated spriings"

Any pair of heads from anywhere, even if they are the same "stage" are never the same it seems!
V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!

So it was good old elbow grease today :?

and pic of the inlet

I CC'd the chambers and they came out around 30-31cc
but not sure how acurate my syringe is and if some of the water didnt go in

so at a guess i think these are 28CC chambers 8)

what would the comp ratio be with tin gaskets??? (9.35:1 pistons)
it's around 9.35-9.40 with comp gaskets and 28cc chambers is it not?
